I lead design at Clerky, the go-to startup legal platform trusted by top YC companies. For 10 years, I’ve built and evolved a precise, high-performance design system across product, brand, and marketing from concept to production code. Every detail is deliberate: shaped by research, designed with intention, and engineered for clarity.
In past roles, I honed my craft across a wide range of roles: screen-printing posters and illustrations at Delicious Design League; designing and art directing independently and with studios like Simple.Honest.Work., Some Odd Pilot, and Fuzzco; and product design at The Noun Project. That decade-plus of interdisciplinary experience informs everything I do, from hand-drawn illustrations to precision-focused UI. Along the way, I’ve worked directly with clients like Google, Mailchimp, Second City, J.P. Morgan, Fast Company, Jack Daniels, NORML, and the New America Foundation.
I also design visual worlds for musicians — from album covers and posters to full brand systems. My collaborators have ranged from Parquet Courts to Daniel Barenboim’s West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, as well as the bands shaping local scenes in Detroit, Chicago, and Richmond. Whether punk, classical, or somewhere in between, the work is always rooted in concept and craft.
Community is central to my practice. I occasionally take on pro-bono work for nonprofits and artists I believe in, treating each project with the same focus and polish as client work. Design is how I stay connected to the people and places that shape me.
